Why it Matters to Me?Public safety and service aren’t just passions—they’re the family business. I was raised by three generations of first responders, spending my childhood in firehouses, police stations, and ambulance bays. These weren’t just places of work—they were communities where I witnessed firsthand the courage, dedication, and sacrifices our first responders make every day.
Supporting Heroes is not just a service initiative—it’s a calling and my life’s mission. After experiencing the loss of my uncle, Firefighter Jerry Stucker, in the line of duty, I witnessed the incredible work of Supporting Heroes and how it brings peace, support, and honor to families and departments during their most difficult times. Every step of my journey has been inspired by the desire to give back to our first responders and their families, ensuring that their service and sacrifices are never forgotten. |

Founded on September 11, 2004, Supporting Heroes operates on foundational principles of ultimate sacrifice, ultimate honor, peace of mind, and advocacy. The organization’s mission is clear: to honor the service and sacrifice of public safety heroes who give their lives in the line of duty – by caring for the loved ones they leave behind. |
